Cutting Edge Stencils Review and Giveaway

I'm so excited today to be offering a fabulous giveaway from Cutting Edge Stencils!
Cutting Edge Stencils provide stencils for all design styles for your home and amazing projects!
They recently sent me one of their fabulous stencils to review. I chose the the Dahlia Allover Stencil.
Delivery was super fast! And I received an amazing package of stencil goodies!

I received a high quality allover stencil, foam roller and handle, stencil level and even some bonus stencils! Cutting Edge Stencils makes sure to go above and beyond with service and supplies!!

Cutting Edge Stencils provides easy to understand instructions with your stencils. They also have easy instructional videos as well, showing step by step wall stenciling to achieve that professional look!

I am making over our hallway closet that I recently created into my office space...or cloffice as some would say. :) I thought this was a perfect space to add a punch of pattern to really define the space and not look so much like a boring closet.

Following the instructions provided by Cutting Edge Stencils, I rolled on my paint that I had placed on a paper plate, after removing the excess on a paper towel. I used 2 different colors for my stencil design, so I was careful to avoid the areas I had designated for my coordinating color. It's important to apply nice even pressure when rolling on your paint.


I rolled on the white color first then I went back with a clean roller and filled in the remaining flowers and pedals with brown.


After I was done, I used the top stencil that was provided that makes it easier to stencil along the edges and corners.

I am thrilled on how my custom wall came out! It was an inexpensive way to add color and punch to my 'office space'! I love how it looks girly in my boy filled home. :)

Giveaway from Vintage Gwen!

Spring Has Sprung & A Winner!

This weekend Nebraska experienced a taste of Summer temps! On Saturday it reached 90 degrees in my area-a new record high! So needless to say my family practically lived outside the last couple days. :)

We're slowly cleaning up after this long winter's nap. I even managed to wash up a few outdoor decor items that need a little tlc and paint to freshen up a bit. So hope to tackle those this week to mark off one thing on my outdoor to-do list.

While playing and working outside, it's been fun to see a little taste of spring popping/growing in our yard. So camera had to come out to capture the moment before it all changes in days to come.

500 Followers Giveaway!

My lil' ole Blog has reached 500 followers! Yay! Let's Celebrate!


I just want to thank each and every one of you for following along, commenting and making At Home With K part of your (almost) daily blog reading! I appreciate it more than you will ever know.

To celebrate, I have a fun little giveaway that I have been planning.
Remember my trip to Simply Bungalow in March? Well I picked up a few goodies for the lucky winner. It's been hard not keeping these to myself. LOL

All goodies are from Nebraska. Let's take a closer look.


First up is a fun spring tag from Thoughtful Images Ink. I love these tags. I have 3 of them. :) They can be incorporated in your decor or added to a gift for a friend.


Oh my...are you in for a treat with this soap from Ellie's Handmade Soap! This lavender scent is wonderful! I can't wait to get some of my own.


Old architectural elements are great to add to any kind of decor. I picked up this fun molding piece from Simply Bungalow. I love it's details and chippy white paint.


Another fun item I added is this flower clip from Miss Ky's Couture. A wonderful piece to add to your shirt, jacket or hair this spring. I have one and get many compliments on mine.


And don't forget the vintage looking wire basket to hold all your goodies! A great way to display your Easter eggs!
